Injury
2012
“You know, if there’s ever a night when you don’t want to go and watch practice, it’s probably O.K. to skip.”
“Why would I do that?!?”
“I don’t know. I just thought it might be hard to sit for two hours every night.”
“It’s not, Mom. Besides, I gotta learn the plays so when I get back I know what to do.”
2 more weeks till the boy can play. Believe me when I say we are all counting down. He is off his crutches now and mostly running in his boot, so I’m quite certain he will be healed up enough to play. He has been the best, most supportive teammate in the history of injured teammates.
